The Department of Art at the University at Buffalo is launching a socially engaged design studio called PLATFORM. Our goal is to help give voice to local non-profits and underserved communities through visual form. Projects span print and digital media to public space, and include logo and identity design, event branding, social media campaigns, data visualization, web design, digital publishing and printed collateral.

In collaboration with Partnership for the Public Good and Open Buffalo, graphic design students developed projects during the 2016-2017 academic year for the following campaigns and organizations:

Back to Basics
Black Liberation and Organizing Collaborative (BLOC)
Buffalo Transit Riders Union (BTRU)
