The Department of Art at the University at Buffalo is launching a socially, engaged design studio called PLATFORM. Our goal is to help give voice to local non-profits and underserved communities through visual form. Projects span print and digital media to public space, and include logo and identity design, event branding, social media campaigns, data visualization, web design, digital publishing and printed collateral.
In collaboration with Partnership for the Public Good and Open Buffalo, graphic design students developed projects during the 2016-2017 academic year for the following campaigns and organizations:
Back to Basics
Black Liberation and Organizing Collaborative (BLOC)
Buffalo Transit Riders Union (BTRU)
F.B. Community Land Trust (Fruit Belt)
Open Buffalo Emerging Leaders
Our Outer Harbor and 21st Century Parks
The exhibition and public presentation features work by UB Department of Art graphic design students:
Vincent De Gracia
PLATFORM is directed by professors Chris Lee and Stephanie Rothenberg in the Department of Art at the University at Buffalo. If you are an organization or non-profit interested in working with us please get in touch via email email@example.com.
