Tonight – MFA Thesis Exhibition Sigils: Rhetoric by Erik Miller

March 24, 2017  by: Natalie Fleming

Please join MFA student Erik Miller for the opening of his MFA thesis exhibition, Sigils: Rhetoric at 515 Main Street Gallery at 6PM tonight, March 24th.

Sigils:Rhetoric is an exploration and explication of rhetoric and control as presented by the church and state in relation to deviants and witches, along with the countermovements it spawned. This is a collection of drawings and paintings on wood and paper relating to the debauchery and prosecution of witches and deviants as well as an interpretation of the meditative process of creating one’s own reality in modern chaos magic. An amalgam, bright and colorful, repetitious, and grim.

Opening: March 24th 6-10pm
Runs until: March 28th
