SHOT! – Opera Opens Tomorrow Night Featuring Video Work by MFA ’16 Carl Spartz

SHOT! – a Nickel City Opera Production – June 10th and 12th  at Shea’s Theatre, 646 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14202
Featuring video work by Department of Art MFA Alum Carl Spartz.

A Dazzling Display of Technology. Witness one of the most important shows about Buffalo history ever to be produced. The September 1901 assassination of President William McKinley. Composed by Persis Anne Vehar. A 2 act extravaganza featuring scenes at the Pan Am Exposition, The Milburn House on Delaware Ave and the Czolgosz Jail Cell of the assassin. The show features modern screen technology, projection and a full orchestra with over 10 principal singers and a full chorus. Historical items will be on display in the lobby of the Historic Shea’s Buffalo Theatre.
