UB Alumni and Faculty on View in “Archiving Western New York: Select Artists from the Gerald Mead Collection”

The University at Buffalo is well represented in a major exhibition & catalog Archiving Western New York: Select Artists from the Gerald Mead Collection on view at the Marion Art Gallery in the Rockefeller Arts Center at SUNY Fredonia through February 28.
Included in the exhibition is work by current faculty members Millie Chen, Adele Henderson, Joan Linder, David Schirm and Paul Vanouse; former faculty members Harvey Breverman, Alan Cober, Virginia Cuthbert, Seymour Drumlevitch, Hollis Frampton, Tyrone Georgiou, Duayne Hatchett, Catherine Koenig, Walter Prochownik and Paul Sharits and numerous alumni including Robert Baeumler, Kyle Butler, Ellen Carey, Nancy Dwyer, Amy Greenan, Anne Muntges, Alberto Rey, Jason Seeley, Kathleen Sherin, Andy Topolski, Endi Poskovic, and Michael Zwack among others
This historic/contemporary survey exhibition drawn from the collection of Gerald Mead, MFA ’08, consists of 112 works in all media, dating from 1888 to 2015, by 112 artists associated with Western New York by birth and residency who have garnered significant international, national or regional reputations for their work.
