Thursday. September 10, 6-8pm

Department of Art Lower Gallery, B45 Center for the Arts, North Campus, University at Buffalo

What is the relationship of contemporary Chinese art to the deep-rooted cultural traditions from which they stem? And what is the role of academia in China and abroad in generating the discourse and methodologies that will shape the future of art making in China and in the diaspora? Engaging these questions are presenters Gan Zhang, Xiaoying Juliette Yuan, Eric Fan Feng, and Anying Chen.

Refreshments will be provided.  Free and open to the public.
