Aloft 2.0, a solo exhibition by Department of Art MFA alumnus Gary Sczerbaniewicz, opens February 6th at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts (DCCA) and will be on view until May 17th in the Constance S. & Robert J. Hennessy Project Space.

Curator Maiza Hixson describes Sczerbaniewicz’s elaborate small-scale models as “enigmatic”, stating:

Looking at the art of Sczerbaniewicz, we confront the limits of our own knowledge and control over a seemingly familiar scenario. With this sense of loss, we can identify a similarly unfamiliar quality residing within ourselves.
