*TONIGHT* the Lower Department of Art Gallery (B45), in the Center for the Arts, will have an opening reception from 5:00-7:00 PM for the exhibition From Cradle to Grave II: Re-Appropriation, Obsolescence and the Arts. The exhibition will display the work of over thirty participants, including Professor Reinhard Reitzenstein and Photography Instructor Daniel Calleri, MFA students Stacey Robinson, Avye Alexandres, Liz Black, Dana Tyrell, Sang Jun Yoo, Todd Smith, and Carl Spartz, in addition to UB undergraduates, alumni, and artists from the Buffalo community.
Each participant took up the challenge to reuse seemingly obsolete technology and art objects in new and creative works of art. The exhibition will run from September 25th until October 18th.
