Fight Club: Politics, Law, and Art exhibition opens on November 7, 2013 and can be seen in the Lower Visual Studies Gallery until January 25, 2014. The Department of Art invites you to join us for the exhibition’s opening reception on November 7th, from 4:30 to 7:00 pm.
The exhibition is curated by Mark Snyder, a second-year MFA student, and will feature works of art by select local, national, and international artists, including the Guerrilla Girls, Regina José Galindo, Carol Leigh, Annie Sprinkle and Elizabeth Stephens. The exhibition will also feature works by the current Visual Studies graduate students Patrick Foran and Jennifer Gradecki. According to Snyder, “each artist in this exhibition produces works that expose invisible power structures and hierarchies, marking them for the public to see and confront.”
