After years of learning and months of preparation, thirty two students have truly reached the end of the beginning. On Friday April 23, from 7-11 pm, graduating seniors in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program from the University at Buffalo will present “Ammunition for Living”. The show is a culmination of ideas, research, and personal beliefs presented as thirty two unique works of art ranging from painting to digital media.
University at Buffalo Senior Art Students will be exhibiting their original masterpieces at a historic local building which, at one time, was known for producing masterpieces of its own. The Pierce Arrow Commerce Park, located on Great Arrow Avenue in Buffalo, has generously donated space for the exhibit.
The massive industrial building was once home of the world-famous Pierce Arrow Motor Car Company, which manufactured luxury automobiles during the 1920’s and 30’s. The current site, maintained and operated by Great Arrow Management, offers office space and warehouse space for lease, auto, motorcycle, and boat storage, as well as all warehouse services.
The 23,000 square foot industrial space at 255 Great Arrow Avenue in Buffalo, NY, charitably donated by Great Arrow Management, LLC, will exhibit year-long projects from 32 of UB’s most talented art students, and will run for one week. There is no charge to attend and the show is open to the public. All are encouraged to come see art works by Buffalo’s top emerging artists.
