Summer Internships: P22 Type Foundry & the WNY Book Arts Collaborative

Summer Internships available at P22 Type Foundry and the WNY Book Arts Collaborative

P22 Pre-Requisites: basic knowledge of bezier curves and html + a healthy obsession with letterforms. Will work on font production, web design and general design projects.

WNYBAC: Will help set up a letterpress printshop and establish working not-for-profit print center in downtown Buffalo. Experience will be gained in assisting with non-profit development, exhibitions, marketing, design, workshop development and research in the book arts, letterpress printing, typography and more.

Internships are meant to provide professional experience and familiarizes students with practices and expectations in the field. Internships are 1-5 credit hours and unpaid. Hours are flexible. Enthusiasm a plus.

Per university policy, internship requires 40 hours of work for every credit earned, 3 credits require 120 hours. Over a 6-week summer program, this equals 20 hours per week.
